According to some sources, the first football ball came to our village around 1925. However, the games did not take place bacause there were no registred football clubs in the near - by villages. The year 1931 is regarded as a year when our football club in Topolje was actually founded. The first name that is mentioned was TANK and it meant THE ACTIVE FOOTBALL CLUB OF TOPOLJE. The year 1945, which was the after - war year, our football club got the name, which has also remained the same until nowadays and that is - FC Baranjac.

Throughout years, our football players originate from Baranjac, some of them even went to the bigger and more famous football clubs. One of the greatest achivments of our football club was the winning of the Baranja cup in 1970-ies and also the winning of Danube cup two times. There were also some opportunities to improvements such as coming into a higher football rank but we have never managed to accomplish that because of the lack of money.

Thanks to this site, a lot of former and present football players can now think about our club, at least for a moment.

Our football club works on the basis of the voluntary work. Thanks to the enthusiasm of the villagers, our football club still exists.
